To join the league all you have to do is go to the front desk and sign-up for a small $20 fee. Once you get your receipt in hand you need to locate Mr. Jimmy Sanchez at the racquetball courts. If you can't find him just ask any players around.

PlayOffs are February 17th next Wednesday @ 7pm.
Please be there 30 to 15 minutes early so you can get your make-up and panties on before 7pm so that we may begin the PlayOffs on time and hit those beer & wings early!

Decembers 2009 Doubles league is under way. A fun filled whackadoo of action awaits all who want to participate. No fee is required. Pack up your smile along with your equipment and join in on the fun today! After the league is over we will be gathering at Benihana for a festive celebration. So don't drop the ball and be there!

Novembers 2009 league had loads of new faces in the final mix. The "B" finals was a fun battle with Andres Moreno going head to head with Marcus Gravier. They both won 1 game a piece with the tie breaker going to Marcus. Nice game guys lots of fun to watch. Andres, dude... get some laces for your sneakers bro ;)

Is LA Fitness going out of business?? Well it appears that the racquetball section is falling apart due to rook leaks and AC leaks... is this the beginning of something else? When we used to play at Bally's on 836 the same thing happened and after 2 months they stripped out the courts to make room for treadmills and elliptical machines. Please complain to the manager to see what answers we get. I already complained and i know others have as well but we need more of you to do the same before someone gets killed by a falling 30 pound wet ceiling tile.

The Sky is falling! And it's no joke... while i was playing a doubles match this Thursday a couple of ladies were walking by the court and out of the sky a soggy ceiling tile fell and just missed one of the girls. It seems that the owners of the strip mall cannot get a handle on the roof leak @ the 184th LA Fitness. So players, look to the skies before going into and coming out of a court or you just may get knocked out by a wet ceiling tile.

According to data recently released by the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association (SGMA) in its annual report for all sports participation, racquetball is once again, one of the fastest growing sports in America. The SGMA Sport's and Fitness Participation Report (2009 Edition), is the latest in a series of reports and studies that have cited significant growth for racquetball in overall participation.

Graffiti Entertainment secured the USA Racquetball license today and named the Wii as the platform of choice for the first game in the to-be series.
According to the press release, a USA Racquetball game, though unnamed, will debut first on Nintendo Wii and then will “roll out games for other videogame console formats.”
The project is currently in development and scheduled for a release in the latter stages of 2010. No mention was made of what other systems the game will venture to, but its beginning on the Wii seems a logical fit.
